Peer Support | Expertise-Infused Learning | Virtual Network
Did you know…1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year*. This means that either you or someone you know has been impacted.
According to National Alliance on Mental Illness, this year’s Mental Health Awareness Month theme – More than Enough – is a message for hope and inclusion and reinforces the fact that “All people, no matter where they are on their mental health journey, are deserving of support, resources, fulfillment and a community that cares.”
Since it’s spring, we invite you to join us for a virtual campfire chat to learn more about the resources and strategies available to boost our mental wellbeing and support our colleagues, friends, and family members.
It’s going to be an interesting and interactive conversation with Mental Wellness Coach Sarah Larrabee. By attending, you will walk away with information about mental health awareness month and how to participate, an array of resources and supports to maximize your own mental wellbeing, and tips and tactics for supporting the mental wellbeing of others.

Sarah's Empowerful You programs incorporate a holistic approach to the mental health challenges we all face in our daily lives. A former military intelligence and operations officer, Sarah traded in her sea bag to pursue her passion: helping people actualize their true potential. However, upon graduating from her Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), she quickly realized her clients were restrained by the diagnostic model of mental illness. She felt that most did not need a diagnosis, they needed tools and strategies. So, she left the traditional clinical field to create a holistic practice that focuses on uncovering The Empowerful You. Empowering with education to uncover the powerful strengths within us all to not only overcome, but thrive.
