Join us as we celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month with a moderated diversity panel discussion. Topics will include allyship and inclusion in the workplace.

Panelists

Steven Mandurano, MBA CAE, CNP

Steven has served various professional and trade associations for the last 15 years. He has nearly 15 years of marketing, communications and membership development experience. Steven currently owns Association CMO LLC, providing small to mid-size organizations with outsourced and fractional marketing, membership, communications and strategy services


Derek Mulhern, ACC

Derek is a Leadership and Career coach and trained facilitator who works with nonprofit and association leaders. He knows how to manage and transform individual contributors to be part of productive, high-functioning teams. Prior to his coaching career, Derek was the Chief of Staff for the Association of Fundraising Professionals.



Jenn Novesky, MPS

Jenn is an association management professional in Washington, DC with over 20 years of demonstrated successes in membership sales and engagement, advocacy, public policy, fundraising, and event planning. She started her role as Vice President of Membership and Volunteer Relations at ASAE in July 2022. Previously, she was Managing Director at the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) and has held positions at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), Research!America, United Way Worldwide, the Human Rights Campaign, and served as a legislative aide to former Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD). 


Moderator: Chris Angel Murphy, MSW

Chris Angel (they/them) is an award-winning LGBTQ+ speaker, trainer, and consultant who is neuroqueer and nonbinary. They have a background in social work and over 15 years of experience with LGBTQ+ community organizing. To date, they've trained thousands of youth and adults on various LGBTQ+ topics in various settings. Chris Angel is a connector at heart, and the host of Allyship is a Verb, a Sonic Bloom Awards and Ambie-nominated podcast.
