Speaker: Katie Kinde
Katie is a 33-year-old Autistic woman, who loves learning and helping others learn. Katie graduated with a master's degree in education with a focus in Learning Design and Technology. While at Wayne State, she also
was the Dean of Social Works secretary and managed much of the continuing education events and certificate distribution. She currently works for Incompass Michigan as the Education Coordinator, creating trainings, coordinating events, and handling certificate distribution. She completed multiple Leadership programs in 2023 and has presented multiple times about Autism in the workplace. She is also a co-leader of the Michigan Advocates for Ending Seclusion and Restraint. In her spare time, she loves making jewelry, gardening, and crafting miniature houses.
